When do spring courses start?

Spring courses start January 4th, 2021 and run until May 28th, 2021.

There are no classes held during Spring break, 4/5/21 - 4/9/21. 

Parents can enroll anytime.

What's maximum number of students per class?

 

Maximum of 8 students in a class. This number may vary slightly depending on the course. 

How do I enroll?

 

You may enroll through our home page. Each course/subject has a card display with a 'Register Now' button. Clicking on this button will redirect you to an enrollment form from which you may enroll in a certain course. 

How are classes conducted?

 

All classes are online, live, and conducted in small groups to facilitate real-time collaboration. Specific teaching styles and curriculums vary with instructors and courses. Read more about course descriptions by visiting our home page and clicking "Details" for a certain subject, or browse the menu above.

Who are the teachers?

Our team of educators include:​​

  • Instructors that have years of teaching experience under their belt, and hail from schools like Cornell, UPenn, UC Berkely, UCLA, UC Davis, UC San Diego, Bard College, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Many of them are credentialed to teach and have previously worked for school districts in some capacity.

  • Experienced professionals currently in their industry's field, teaching a dedicated subject.

  • For high school subjects-based courses, teachers are current high school teachers from local school districts.

Do I have to pay for the whole semester?

 

No. You may register for any single week or number of weeks (they don't have to be consecutive) for courses that are continuous throughout the spring. (i.e. Common Core Math an English). For the 4-week module-based courses, you may enroll in any 4-week session that works for you.

How many courses can I sign up for?

 

You may sign up for as many courses as you/your child desire and that their schedule allows for. 

What are the next steps after enrolling?

 

After you submit the enrollment form, we'll confirm your registration within 24 hours. Then, we'll email you Zoom links and a Google Classroom code. Please save these links so you can join in on the day of class.

Canopy's program supplements your child's classes to make sure they stay on track. It's been a tough year, but we're here to help.

What is the refund policy? 
  • We accept a cancellation of all registered courses, or cancelling all after a certain date. We will issue a refund within 24 hours after receiving a request and parents will receive a notification.
